Church on the Queensway is a Bible-based church that is called to reach the GTA with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. We are currently seeking suitable applicants to fill the following positions:
Building Superintendent
The church is looking to hire a full time Building Superintendent who will oversee the general maintenance of all its facilities. The basic duties would include the supervising and scheduling of the facility and janitorial staff ensuring all church grounds and properties are kept clean and in safe condition which also includes all snow removal during the winter months. As well, the job requires the ability to handle basic repairs such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and other small jobs. The Factory: Administrative Assistant
The church is looking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant for The Factory (which consists of our Tweens, Youth, and Young Adults Ministries). The basic duties would include assisting the Tweens, Youth, and Young Adults Pastors with providing administrative support and coordination for all meetings and special projects. Ideal candidates will be able to work at a fast pace and stick to weekly deadlines, comfortable working with technology, and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Custodial Worker
The church is currently seeking to hire two (2) full-time custodians to assist with the day to day cleaning and sanitizing of the building. Ideal candidates will be punctual and reliable, able to comfortably lift up to 30lbs, comfortable using a ladder and able to work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision.
