About Léna Gauthier
Léna Gauthier is an award-winning musician. She holds a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Université de Montréal and also studied piano, voice, and music pedagogy at the Université Laval and the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She also has a Bachelor of Theology from Faith Theological Seminary and Bible College.
 
Léna has taught students of all ages and levels since 1987. She has held teaching positions with several recognized schools including Canada Christian College. Throughout her career, she has been part of many operatic performances, and performed as a soloist with various orchestras and ensembles. Léna has also released 3 albums of both classical selections and her own Christian compositions.
 
She is the founder of the Worship Training Centre, an educational program dedicated to equip worship teams and ministry leaders in the areas of theology of worship, musical training and coaching, and ministry preparation. Léna’s ministry includes leading worship, teaching God’s Word, conducting worship seminars and workshops, songwriting, and performing as a professional singer and pianist for various events. Léna has been a part of our productions since 2011.

Private and semi-private lessons for students of all ages and levels. Léna teaches with enthusiasm and professionalism through a comprehensive curriculum covering all areas of singing including vocal health, effective technical exercises, sight-singing, performance preparation, and a varied repertoire. Léna also helps interested students prepare for RCM exams, auditions, performances & recordings, and regional competitions.

Private and semi-private lessons using the most recognized and engaging piano methods to maximize student’s interest. Léna teaches with enthusiasm and professionalism students of all ages and levels every aspect of piano playing including technique, note reading and theory, style and interpretation, performance preparation, and a varied repertoire. Léna also helps interested students prepare for RCM exams, auditions, performances & recordings, and regional competitions.

Worship Coaching

Private lessons for those of all ages and sufficient proficiency already involved or interested in worship ministry. Léna is passionate about equipping individuals, teams, and churches with the necessary skills and biblical knowledge on the area of worship. Lessons in Worship Coaching may include vocal health technique, piano chord/rhythm technique and patterns, lead/chord sheet reading,​ harmonization techniques for SAT, effective hand signals and vocal cues, how to plan and lead a worship rehearsal, how to effectively engage with your congregation, how to successfully research and choose worship repertoire, and biblical purpose and theology of praise and worship.
